As of July 1, 2022, state registration cards will no longer be necessary (under HB933). This new law does away with the need for individuals to have a state-issued driver's license or identification card in order to register to vote. This makes it easier for individuals to register to vote and participate in the electoral process. Additionally, this law removes the potential for individuals to be disenfranchised due to not having the necessary documents to register to vote. This is a major step
