Directed by the Eternals director, Chloe Zhao, Nomadland is unlike any best picture movie I have seen so far. It follows the story of a woman in her sixties who lost everything during the Great Recession. She chose to embark on a journey of healing and moving on from the tragedies she encountered in life.
