Minor name changes to the same PNR are allowed for all American Prime/American Eagle flights on validated tickets (001). The initial Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD), Date of Birth (DOB) and Gender (M_F) information should not be changed. Because the flight is under airport control, name changes cannot be made within 24 hours of departure.

Minor name corrections are eligible for tickets beginning with serial number 001. Therefore, the minor name correction policy is applicable on American Prime and American Eagle flights. American Airlines allows travelers to make minor name corrections up to 24 hours before takeoff.
